Nanticoke Heritage Festival in Woodland, Delaware
This is the 1st Annual Nanticoke Heritage Festival that joins together the Nanticoke Heritage Byway and the Woodland School House Association. The Festival will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Woodland Schoolhouse historic site, 27866 Woodland Road, Seaford, Delaware. The Nanticoke Heritage Festival is being held to showcase what is happening in Western Sussex County and beyond.
There will be local vendors, historical organizations, such as the Woodland School Association, Nanticoke Heritage Byway, Nanticoke Indian Association, Woodland Church, Woodland Ferry Association, with more organizations to be announced.
Musical entertainment The Jones Boys and Charlie and the Cool Tones.
An antique car show, food vendors, crafters, farmers market, children activities, and attractions for all ages.
The Living History of Delaware 2nd Regiment will be doing an encampment this weekend. Demonstrations will be occurring throughout the day.
